Gauge: 14 sts and 21 rows = 4”/10cm in stockinette st using size US size 8 [5.0 mm] needle
Materials:
Worsted weight yarn that will felt: 60 (75, 95, 105, 125, 160, 180, 210, 240, 275) yards / 55 (69, 87, 96, 114, 147, 165, 192, 220, 252) meters
Worsted weight yarn that will not felt and will hold its shape: 30 (38, 48, 53, 63, 80, 90, 105, 120, 138) yards/28 (35, 44, 49, 58, 73, 82, 96, 110, 126) meters
Needles: US size 8 [5.0 mm] double pointed needles or size needed to get gauge, US size 3 [3.25 mm] double pointed needles or 2 sizes smaller than your gauge needle
Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle to weave in ends, small amount of waste yarn to hold thumb stitches
