California needs a whole year just to itself for sock designs! I finally narrowed down the choices to the themes of the Redwood forests and old-school Hollywood glam.

This sock has a toe-up construction with an afterthought heel.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Sizes: S (M, L, XL) Women’s US sizes 5-6½ (7-9, 10½, 11+)

Finished Measurements: Circumference – 7.5 (8, 8.5, 9)”/ 19 (20.5, 22, 23)cm

Gauge:
28 sts x 40 rows = 4” / 10cm square in rib pattern knit in the round
32 sts x 42 rows = 4” / 10cm square in stockinette stitch knit in the round

Materials: 484 (538, 591, 650) yds / 442 (492, 541, 595) m of any fingering weight yarn
Sample used Plymouth Yarn Happy Feet (90% Merino Wool, 10% Nylon; 1.76oz / 50g; 192 yd / 176 m) 2.5 skeins in the #2 colorway

Needles: Size US 1 [2.25mm]

Notions: yarn needle, 3 stitch markers, waste yarn, @ 7 yds / 6.5 m of 1/2-7/8” / 1.3-2.2cm wide ribbon
