Hi! I’m Melissa, and I’m glad you stopped by! I have been designing knitting patterns for over a decade and now offer tech editing and grading services as well.
With over 10 years experience, I’ve had a lot of time to really understand how the designing business works. I have designed almost anything you can imagine-from felted mittens to Estonian lace stoles to cabled sweaters.
Additionally, I have successfully completed Joeli’s Learn-Build-Grow tech editing course and Jill Wolcott’s A System of Grading course. I formerly taught A Masterclass in Grading for Joeli, and now teach Grading 101, and Learn to Tech Edit Crochet for The Tech Editor Hub. I highly recommend any of these courses to anyone wanting to further their skills!
When I am not knitting, teaching, tech editing, or grading, you can find me teaching robotics and programming, beekeeping, or grading papers.
